Hello
I’m Rae, the designer, maker, and the hands behind Day With Rae. This space grew out of a love for texture, quiet moments, and the kind of creativity that takes its time.
I started designing crochet patterns as a way to blend beauty and function, creating pieces that feel good to make and even better to wear. My work is inspired by soft tones, natural fibers, and the calming rhythm of slow craft.
Whether you’re here to follow a pattern, explore a new technique, or simply take a breath and be inspired, I’m so glad you’re here. Day With Rae is more than a name—it’s an invitation to pause, create, and enjoy the process.
My Story
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to the feeling of making something with my hands—the quiet focus, the repetitive motion, the satisfaction of creating something from a simple strand of yarn. Crochet became my favorite way to slow down and feel connected to myself, especially during seasons of life that felt noisy or rushed.
I started sharing my patterns casually, not expecting much—just hoping someone else might enjoy them too. But as I put more care into my designs, I realized I was building something more than a hobby. I was building a creative rhythm that grounded me. A way of making that wasn’t about speed or productivity, but about presence, texture, and joy in the process.
Day With Rae was born from that rhythm. It’s a space where I can share the things I love—soft colors, gentle patterns, wearable pieces, and the idea that creativity doesn’t have to be loud to be meaningful. I design with intention, always asking: How will this feel to make? How will it fit into someone’s day?
My goal isn’t just to sell patterns—it’s to offer small moments of calm and connection, one stitch at a time. If spending a day with fiber in your hands and beauty on your mind sounds like your kind of day, then I think you’ll feel right at home here.
